What will the AGOV login cost me?
The AGOV login is free for users. AGOV is financed by the Confederation and cantons.
What happens if I lose my smartphone or security key?
We recommend that you use two devices in parallel, for instance a smartphone and a security key that is registered with AGOV. This means that unlimited access to your AGOV login is still guaranteed if you lose one of the devices. Independently of this, when you register you will receive a recovery code. Please keep it in a safe place. If you lose all of the devices registered with AGOV, you can use this code to recover your AGOV login. In this case, any identity authentication already performed will have to be repeated.
How are AGOV and the Federal Administration's CH-LOGIN related?
The AGOV login will replace CH-LOGIN. CH-LOGIN will continue to be available for the time being.
How are AGOV and the planned state e-ID related?
As soon as the state e-ID is available, you will also be able to log in to public services via AGOV using your e-ID. From the AGOV perspective, the e-ID can replace the AGOV access app.
